What I'm doing now

I'm currently spending most of my time building ChatNestly, an AI chatbot product I've been working on for businesses.

The basic idea came from a problem I've seen many times while building websites and applications. A business can have a good website, good products and good information, but customers still end up asking the same questions over and over again.

I wanted to build something that could sit between the website and the customer and handle some of that conversation.

That's how ChatNestly started.

At the moment, I'm working on improving the chatbot's ability to understand a company's own information, making the setup easier, and connecting the experience with WhatsApp.

I'm also trying to learn what businesses actually want from AI rather than simply adding AI features because they're fashionable.

One thing I've realised while building it is that making something work is often the easy part. Making it simple enough that someone else can use it without needing you is much harder.

That's probably one of my biggest focuses right now.

Outside of ChatNestly, I'm still doing regular web development work with Laravel, PHP, WordPress, Shopify and related technologies. I still enjoy writing code, but I'm spending more time thinking about products and how people use them.

For now, I'm building, testing, fixing things, talking to users and trying to make ChatNestly a little better each week.

That's pretty much where my head is these days.
